You create and manage 2D entities in a layout design using tags and nodes in the Model Tree. Tags and nodes are different labeling systems that you can apply to organize, categorize, and control the visibility of entities in a layout. When you apply tags and assign nodes to some or all of the entities in a layout, you can easily recognize the entities as a distinct group within the design.

You can also use tags and nodes to filter the data that is shared with Creo Parametric or other 3D applications. Apply the public tag to any layout entity that you want to share in a 3D environment.
