To Switch among Types of Measurement
You can show all the different types of measurements for a selected entity by using summary mode, or you can show just one type of measurement, for example, length. You can switch to a different measurement type at any time. When you switch among measurement types, the entities remain selected.
• To show all the different types of measurements for a selected reference entity, click > 
Measure.
Measure.• To open the Measure tool and use a specific measurement type, on the Analysis tab, click the arrow below Measure, and then click the required measurement type.
Measure, and then click the required measurement type.• When the Measure tool is open, you can switch measurement types in two ways:
◦ Right-click the graphics window and choose the measurement type from the shortcut menu.
◦ In the Measure dialog box, click the measurement type button.
