To Create an Offset Cross Section
1. Open a part.
2. On the View tab, click the arrow next to 
Section.

Alternatively, to create a sketch perform the following steps:
a. Click the arrow next to 
Datum on the Section tab. A list opens.

d. Use the Sketch tab to draw a sketch.

5. You can extend the cross section to one side of the sketch or both sides of the sketch using 
on the Section tab. The cross section is extended normal to the sketch reference.

6. Click
