Using Auto Progress in Family Tables
You can set the Auto Progress setting to add a new row to the family table when Enter key is pressed. The selected auto progress setting is saved to a *.ui file.
The Auto Progress menu has the following options:
Add new row—(Default) Add a new row to the family table when pressing Enter. The new row is added only if the cursor is placed on the last row. If the cursor is placed on any other rows, pressing Enter just advances the active cell to the next row.
Do not add rows—Advance the active cell to the next row without adding a new row when pressing Enter.
No auto progress—Do not change the active cell when pressing Enter.
To add a new row:
1. Click Tools > Family Table. The Family Table dialog box opens.
2. In Settings, click Auto Progress and select the Add new row check box.
3. Place the cursor on the last row and then press Enter. A new row is added below.
