To Retrieve the Generic During File/Open
1. Open a model that contains a Family Table. The Select Instance dialog box opens.
2. Click the By Name tab.
3. Select the generic from the displayed list.
4. To preview the generic without opening it in a new Creo Parametric window, click Tools > Preview, or click . To open the generic in a new Creo Parametric window, click Open.
