To Plot Using a Drawing Template View
After you click > > , the Quick Drawing dialog box opens. Follow the procedure below when you select Drawing Template as your View Layout Definition.
1. In the Drawing Template box, type the path to your drawing template (.drw) file or click Browse and select the file.

• If you have set the configuration option quick_print_drawing_template this is automatically defined for you. You can overwrite the configuration option by typing a path to or browsing to another .drw file.

2. In the Plot Config File box, type the path to your plotter configuration (.pcf) file or click Browse and select the file.

If you have set the configuration option quick_print_plotter_config_file, the path to the plotter configuration file is automatically defined for you. You can overwrite the configuration option by typing a path to or browsing to another .pcf file.

3. Click OK to plot the part or assembly.

• The Quick Drawing command plots only what is on the screen. Settings in the drawing template that are in conflict with the current model are ignored.
• If the plotter configuration file cannot be found, is missing required values, or is generating plotter errors, then an error dialog box opens after you click OK. Depending on the error, you can redirect to the correct plotter configuration file or edit the plotter configuration file, from the dialog box.
