To Insert Features and Components in the Model Tree

1. You can move the line in the Model Tree that indicates where to insert new features and components, using a method described below:

◦ Right-click a feature on the Model Tree and select Insert Here. The locator is placed below the selected feature.

◦ Place the pointer on the line and drag the line to the desired location.

◦ Use the Menu Manager:

a. Click Model > Operations > Feature Operations. The FEAT menu appears.

b. Click Insert Mode ▶ Activate.

c. Select a feature on the Model Tree. The line is placed below the selected feature.

In the message area, Insert mode has been activated, appears.

2. To cancel insert mode, right-click the line and select Exit Insert Here, or drag the line to the bottom of the Model Tree.
