To Modify the Hatch Angle
To Modify the Hatch Angle of an Individual Line in a Pattern Stored in a .xch file File
1. Click
. A box appears next to
.
2. Type Hatch Editor in the box. The Hatch Editor dialog box opens.
| The Hatch Editor is not included in the ribbon by default. You can add the command to the ribbon or Quick Access toolbar using the Creo Parametric Options dialog box. 3. Click
in the
Hatch Editor dialog box and browse to the pattern (
.xch file) that you want to edit. The selected pattern is displayed in the
Hatch Editor dialog box.
4. Use
and
to move to the line you want to edit.
5. Specify an Angle to orient the line. The angle is measured relative to a zero position.
6. Click
to save the updated pattern to the
.xch file.
To Modify the Hatch Angle of the Hatch Pattern on a Part
1. Right-click a cross section on the Model Tree and click Edit Hatching. The Edit Hatching dialog box opens.
2. If you are editing an assembly cross section, then select the parts to edit the section hatch pattern. The selected parts are placed in the collector.
3. Click Use hatch from the part to modify the hatch pattern assigned to the material in the selected items.
4. In Angle specify an angle to orient the hatch pattern. The angle is measured relative to the initial orientation of the hatch pattern. If hatching has multiple line patterns, the change in hatch angle is applied to all line patterns.
5. Click Apply. The settings are stored in the model and are available when you open the model in another session.
