To Use a PTC Mathcad Prime Worksheet in a Creo Model
Prerequisites to Using Mathcad Worksheets in a Creo Model
You must have the following applications installed before you can embed or activate a worksheet in a model:
• Creo Parametric
• PTC Mathcad Prime.
You must have a PTC Mathcad Prime license in order to use the full capabilities of PTC Mathcad Prime. Without a PTC Mathcad Prime license you can only use the PTC Mathcad Express version.
Embedding a New, Blank Worksheet
When a worksheet is not embedded in the model, you can create and embed a new worksheet. In an open Creo Parametric model, perform one of the following operations:
The PTC Mathcad Prime glyph appears in the right corner of the Graphics window. PTC Mathcad Prime opens to a new worksheet.
Embedding a Copy of a Worksheet
1. In an open Creo Parametric model, click > > . The Open dialog box opens.
2. Select a PTC Mathcad Prime worksheet and click Open. The PTC Mathcad Prime glyph appears in the right corner of the Graphics window. The selected worksheet opens in PTC Mathcad Prime and it is embedded in the model.

Activating a Worksheet
1. Open a model with an embedded worksheet.
2. Perform one of the following operations:
◦ Click
in the graphics window.
3. The embedded worksheet opens in PTC Mathcad Prime.
Removing a Worksheet
In an open model, click > > .
| When you remove a worksheet, it is deleted and no longer exists. |
Searching for a Model with an Embedded PTC Mathcad Prime Worksheet
1. In an open Creo Parametric model with an embedded worksheet, click the arrow next to the Model Tree search box.
2. Click Contains Mathcad worksheet. Models with embedded worksheets highlight in the Model Tree.
