To Determine the Value of an Expression
You can obtain a value of an expression, either a single parameter or an equation, without adding it to the model as a relation.
1. Click > . The Relations dialog box opens.
2. Click
. The
Evaluate Expression dialog box opens.
3. Enter the parameter symbol (for example, d20, $d20, d10:2, depth), user parameter (for example, color), or expression (for example, d5 + d6, d2!= d4) in the Expression box.
4. Click Evaluate. The result of the evaluation appears in the Result box. Comparison equations such as d2!= d4 or d3 == d2 return either a 0 (false) or a 1 (true).
5. Click Close.
