To Copy and Paste an Appearance

1. On the View tab, click the arrow below

Appearances. The appearance gallery opens.

2. Click

Copy Paste Appearance. The cursor changes to a

color picker.

3. Copy the existing appearance that is applied to the model using the

color picker.

When you copy an appearance using the picker,

changes to display the copied appearance, which now is the active appearance for the current session.

4. The cursor changes to a

paint brush and the Select dialog box appears.

5. Place the copied appearance on a surface of the model in the current session using the

paint brush.

6. Click OK in the Select dialog box to paste the copied appearance. The copied appearance is pasted on the entire surface of the model.

You can click

to paste the copied appearance to other models or model surfaces in the session. You can copy and paste one appearance at a time.
