Methods to Edit Reference Curves During Spine Deformation
After you select one or more curves or edges to define a chain, you can use any of the following methods to edit curve tangents and points on the curves:
• Hold down the CTRL key and select multiple points.
• To delete a point, right-click and select Delete Point.
• Right-click and select Add Point to add a point at a location.
• Right-click and select Add Mid Point to add a point at the midpoint of two existing points on each side of the selected location.
• Hold down the SHIFT key and drag one or more points on the curve to snap the curve on to other geometry.
• Right-click over the tangent vector and select one of the following tangent settings:
◦ Natural—Uses the natural tangent for the defining points of the curve. The natural tangent at the endpoint of a curve is computed with reference to the defining points of the curve when no fixed tangent is specified.
◦ Horizontal—Sets the current direction of the tangent to horizontal, relative to the end planes of the marquee.
◦ Vertical—Sets the current direction of the tangent to vertical, relative to the end planes of the marquee.
◦ Normal—Sets the current direction of the tangent to be perpendicular to the end planes of the marquee.
