To Smooth a Curve

Use this procedure to get a smoother curve shape. You can smooth multiple points in one procedure, instead of dragging points one at a time.

1. In the Model Tree, right-click the Style feature that contains the curve to smooth, and click

Edit Definition. The Style tab opens.

2. Click Style >

Curve Edit. The Curve Edit tab opens.

3. Select a point or points on the curve.

◦ You cannot smooth soft points.

◦ You cannot smooth only a curve end point. You can select an endpoint if the selection also includes points that are not endpoints.

4. Smooth the curve by performing one of the following actions:

◦ Click

Smooth.

◦ Right-click the selected points and click Smooth.

The curve is smoothed.

5. Click

OK.
