About Defining Rotational Pattern of Shapes
You can define a rotational pattern of one or more shapes about a selected axis.
When defining the rotational pattern, you select a datum axis as the center of the rotational pattern and specify the number of pattern members.
The following graphic shows rotational patterns with a different number of pattern members:
Rotational Pattern of 4 Members
Rotational Pattern of 8 Members
You can define a rotational pattern by specifying the angular extent of the pattern or the angle between adjacent members.
The following graphic shows different angular extent in rotational patterns with the same number of pattern members:
Rotational Pattern with 180 Degree Angular Extent
Rotational Pattern with 90 Degree Angular Extent
The following graphic shows rotational patterns with different angles between pattern members:
Rotational Pattern with 10 Degree Angle Between Members
Rotational Pattern with 30 Degree Angle Between Members
You can define a rotational pattern of one or more shapes about a selected axis.
The following graphic shows rotational patterns of different number of shapes:
Rotational Pattern of One Shape
Rotational Pattern of Two Shapes
