To Create a Bushing Load
Follow these steps to create a bushing load feature:
1. With a mechanism assembly open, click
Bushing Loads. The
Bushing Load tab opens.
2. Select a weld or a 6DOF connection.
3. The Coefficients tab is open by default. Enter values for spring stiffness and the damping coefficient.
4. The value of any unstretched bushing spring is zero; whenever the coordinate systems of the weld connection are coincident, the spring force is also zero.
5. If you are using a weld connection, you can lock an axis, in which case the assembly loses its last degree of freedom.
6. Click the
Properties tab and type a new name for the bushing load, or click

7. Click

to preview the bushing load.
8. Click

to accept the bushing load definition.
