Manikin Comfort Angle (MCA) File Descriptions
The tables list the .mca files that are included with Creo Manikin. The preferred angles contained in these files are intended as a starting point. They give you a basic human performance indication.
References are provided if you want to compare the different comfort evaluators.

Hand strength files
This table lists the hand strength files and their descriptions. The files reside in the Force folder in the Comfort Library.
The files analyze the maximum force that can be exerted by a human in the sitting position on a vertical handgrip at various elbow angles. A file is provided for average (50th %), small (5th %), and large (90th %) strength. The comfort score returned represents the force in pound-force (lb-f).
The files are based on Hunsicker, P. A. “Arm Strength at Selected Degrees of Elbow Flexion”, Technical Report 54-548, Wright Air Development Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, August 1955.
