Option Name | Description |
---|---|
Chord Height | Helps to control the result in a tessellation. The default value for chord height is 0.03 mm. This value is limited to [0 to 1]. |
Angle Control | Helps to control the result in a tessellation. The default value for angle control is 0.6 mm. This value is limited to [0 to 1]. |
CTI parameter name | Name of the parameter for the CTI values of parts or part surfaces. |
Default CTI value | Default CTI value for unassigned parts. |
Default violation tolerance | Value added to the distance for clearance and creepage. |
Unit | Unit to use for the display of length and distance. Valid values are mm and inch. |
Decimal places | The number of decimal places for the values specified as the distance parameters. The default values are 2 mm and 4 inches. |
Number of cores | Number of cores you are using for computation on a machine. It is recommended to set the value to the maximum number of available cores. If you want to run other programs while performing the CCX analysis, you can reduce the number of cores. |
Clearance sampling distance | Defines the distance between the discrete samples in the distance field around a source net. Clearance sampling distance and Creepage sampling distance are a trade-off between parameters for speed and accuracy. The maximum error of a resultant path is approximately one-tenth of the specified sampling distance. The default value large assemblies for both measures is 0.4 mm. For smaller assemblies, the sampling distance can decrease with little impact on the computation time. |
Creepage sampling distance | |
Violation if Path <= Violation Distance | Flags a path as a major violation when the path distance is less than or equal to the violation distance. |
Violation if Path < Violation Distance | Flags a path as a major violation when the path distance is less than the violation distance. If the path distance is equal to the violation distance, it is flagged as a minor violation. |
