To Place a Surface Finish Using Repeat Mode
To create multiple instances of a surface finish with selected settings:
1. On the Annotate tab, click Surface Finish. The Surface Finish ribbon appears.
2. Click Repeat Mode, select a surface finish, the apply the your settings.
The Surface Finish ribbon remains active while placing the surface finish.
3. Select a reference and place the surface finish. Immediately after placing a surface finish, the surface finish is attached to the pointer for the next placement. You can follow this method to place multiple surface finish instances.
You can optionally:
Select a different placement mode and continue placing the surface finish.
Choose a different surface finish. This switches to the default ,automatic placement mode, though you can choose a different placement mode.
4. To stop placing new instances of a surface finish, left click in the graphics window, or in the Surface Finish ribbon click Cancel.
