To Insert a Symbol from the Palette
1. On the Annotate tab, click Symbol and then click 
Symbol From Palette. The Symbol Instance Palette: draw_symbol_palette dialog box opens displaying a palette of available symbols.

2. Select a symbol from palette and click a point in the layout to place it, or click Open and browse to a symbol to insert.
3. Continue placing the symbol, or right-click to finish placing the symbol.
4. Select additional symbols from the palette to insert.
5. Click Close.
