About Setting Assembly References in Component Editor
1. Click > > to open the Component Editor dialog box.
2. Click Assembly References.
3. Select one of the default constraint types:
◦ 
—Axis or point, datum plane, and orient plane.
◦ 
—Axis or point and datum plane.
◦ 
—Axis or point, or curve and datum plane.
◦ 
—Axis or point on curve, datum plane, and orient plane.
◦ 
—Coordinate system.
◦ 
—Datum plane.
4. Select the references in the part or assembly. After confirmation. The selected reference features will be listed in the table..
