Cannot fit the flattened harness view into the selected drawing template.
The flattened harness part does not fit into the any of the drawing templates.
Do one of the following:
Click Bend to Fit to bend the longer branches.
Adjust the scaling factor.
Click Variable sheet size to use a drawing sheet size that expands in the horizontal direction to fit the branches.
Select a larger drawing template.
Define a custom drawing template.
*
The 2D representation must fit in a single drawing sheet. You cannot split a 2D representation across multiple sheets.
Cannot prevent branch overlap.
The manufacturing drawing contains overlapping branches.
You must re-orient the branches on the manufacturing drawing to remove overlaps.
Cannot automatically dimension segments. Check message log for details.
The specified branch segment cannot be automatically dimensioned.
The IDs of the segment that were not dimensioned are written to the error log file. Manually add dimension to the segment.
Cannot find terminator information. Check cavity tables.
The terminators for the connector model could not be extracted.
The ID of the connector for which terminators were not extracted is written to the error log file. Ensure the terminators are added to the connector model either as an electrical or mechanical parameter.
Cannot generate component view. Check cavity tables.
The connector rear view could not be generated for the connector. The model name could not be extracted from the part.
The IDs of the connectors for which the rear views were not drawn are written to the error log file. Ensure the part is in session and is valid for the assembly. Re-flatten the harness. If the problem persists, contact PTC technical support.
Cannot process the sub-harness.
HMX was unable to process the sub-harness assembly due to an error.
Close and re-open the assembly. Open the HMX dialog box and flatten the sub-harness. If the problem persists, contact PTC technical support.
The Wire List table is incomplete
Not all extracted wires were added to the Wire List table.
The IDs of the missing wires are written to the error log file. re-flatten the harness. If the problem persists, contact PTC technical support.
The drawing template units differ from the user configuration file.
The drawing template units and the value specified for the configuration option pro_length_unit do not match. The generated drawing will be displayed incorrectly.
Use a different drawing template, or change the value of the configuration option pro_length_unit for the harness assembly in session.
Overlapping locations found.
Overlapping location points are found in the generated harness. The overlapping location points have the same X, Y, and Z coordinates.
To avoid overlapping locations do not insert locations close to each other.
Selected drawing template contains predefined drawing views.
No suitable drawing border format has been found.
Select a suitable drawing sheet template.
Only bundles are completely routed. Check if the HMX drawing is as expected.
Only bundles are routed. There are no wires in the harness. Bundles can be terminated on entry ports or location points. If the bundles are terminated on entry ports, the associated connectors and visible terminals appear in the manufacturing drawing. If the bundles are terminated on location points, the associated connectors and visible terminals do not appear in the manufacturing drawing.
Terminate bundles on entry ports or locations points to obtain the desired result.
Model "Description" parameter is not specified. Using default value.
You have not specified a value for the BOM reporting parameter, Model "Description". The default value DESCRIPTION will be used.
Map the BOM parameters to the appropriate property of the 3D assembly using the Model "Description" option.
Connector "Seal" parameter not specified. Using default value.
You have not specified a value for the BOM Reporting Parameter, Connector "Seal". The default value SEAL_NAME will be used.
Map the BOM parameters to the appropriate property of the 3D assembly using the Connector "Seal" option.
Spool "Part Number" parameter not specified. Using default value.
You have not specified a value for the BOM Reporting Parameter Spool "Part Number". The default value MANUFACTURER_PART_NO will be used.
Map the BOM parameters to the appropriate property of the 3D assembly using the Spool "Part Number" option.
Detected conductors within a bundle; wire lengths may be inaccurate.
Presence of conductors in a bundle may cause inaccurate calculation of the wire lengths.
The IDs of the bundles that contain conductors are written to the error log file. Route conductors outside the bundle.
*
This error does not apply to wires or cables within bundles.
Custom Symbol Library Missing Symbol Directory.
No symbol directory has been found.
Make sure the directory is accessible to the current machine and that it has not been moved.
Connector <Component name> symbol missing from symbol directory.
No symbol has been found in the symbol directory with the model name.
Add the symbol to the currently used symbol directory.
One or more errors have been detected in retrieving custom symbols. Reverting to generated cavity views.
An attempt to retrieve a symbol has failed.
The symbols used were unable to be retrieved, either by inability to access the directory or the symbols not present for the currently processed model. Rerun HMX after resolving the issues.
The following parameters were not found in the current assembly and have been removed from the current session custom tables: <parameter names> These changes are not permanent until you click save on the Tables dialog.
The table customization file in the current working directory contains parameters which are not present in the current assembly.
Inspect the table preview on the HMX table tab and either Save or Clear the table.
Connector <connector name> symbol cannot be displayed. Ensure symbols are created with fixed height.
Custom symbols that have been retrieved by HMX were created with a variable size.
Create custom symbols with a fixed height, or use the default views created by HMX.
Parts with ref des <ref_des> have the type parameter SPLICE but do not conform to HMX's splice identification rules. These parts are treated as components.
Assembled and inserted splices require two routed entry ports with opposing Z-axis directions.
Adjust the routing to the splice, if required.
Parts with ref des <ref_des> have the type parameter SPLICE but do not conform to HMX's splice identification rules. These parts are treated as connectors.
Assembled and inserted splices require two routed entry ports with opposing Z-axis directions.
Adjust the routing to the splice, if required.
Due to changes in the harness, the 2D or 3D View position cannot be retained. The 2D or 3D View is placed on the new sheet.
There is no space on the current fixed size drawing sheet to place the view.
Rearrange views on the drawing sheets, as required.
Changes to the segment lengths in the saved drawing have been detected. These changes will not be applied. The HMX drawing segment lengths will reflect the current 3D harness.
The segment lengths in the saved drawing were altered and do not match the segment lengths extracted from the 3D harness.
HMX creates a drawing with segment lengths that reflect the current 3D harness. Any edits to the segment lengths must be reapplied in the drawing.
Due to changes in the harness routing (e.g. closed loops) there are overlapping segments in the drawing. Either adjust the harness routing, or edit the angles of the overlapping segments in the sketch before saving.
Edits have been made to the 3D harness that have altered the topology and the resulting segments. Segment angles have been retained, but changes to the segments have caused segments to overlap.
Edit the angles of the segments in the drawing to remove the overlap.
Alternatively, revert the harness changes.
Multiple inserted components may share the same location. Check debug panel for details.
Multiple components have been inserted in the same location. This topography is unsupported by HMX.
Edit the placement of the components to individual locations.
HMX Advanced license is required to apply absolute dimensions. Contact your account representative to obtain the license.
HMX license is not Advanced.
Obtain the HMX Advanced license. License type can be viewed in the info tab.
Due to changes in the drawing, leader note(s) attached to segments could not be correctly placed. Note text has been retained. Add leaders if required.
HMX cannot retain placement references to silhouette surfaces and undesignated connectors.
Change the leader placement referencing.
Error retaining broken views from previous drawing.
View break points could not be retained.
Manually reapply the broken views.
