About Hole Tables
Hole tables organize and display detailed information about various hole types such as standard holes, sketched holes, cuts, datum points, and datum axes in a specified drawing view. The holes are also labeled in the drawing view; numerically for ISO standards or alphanumerically for ASME standards. When you create a hole table, the default column format includes a table heading and a name column, as well as:
X- and Y-coordinate columns and a diameter column for holes and cuts.
X-, Y-, and Z-coordinate columns for datum points.
X- and Y-coordinate columns for datum axes.
You can create, delete, and update hole tables. The table cells and content are automatically updated when you select a view and a general table location.
You can use the Hole Table dialog box to customize the table display before creating the table, for example, adding additional parameter columns or assigning a sort order. You can also manually edit and format the table content after you place the table in the drawing. Each drawing item type is displayed in a separate table, that is, each of the holes, cuts, datum points, and datum axes are listed in separate tables. A drawing can have multiple hole tables, but only one hole table per view for each of the drawing item types.

If you have created a hole feature with the Sketched placement type, it may contain multiple hole instances. All these hole instances are listed in the hole table in different rows.

If you have changed the holes, cuts, datum points, or datum axes in the model, or if you want to return any modified drawing values to the accurate model values, you must update the hole tables.
