About Task-Related Content on the Drawing Tree
Whenever you click a task tab on the drawing main menu, the Drawing Tree is updated to display the new task content and expands up to 2 levels deep. Objects below the second level appear collapsed. This is regardless of the expansion level of the Drawing Tree you viewed earlier.
The types of drawing items that appear on the Drawing Tree depend upon the task tab that you select.
Following is a list of drawing item types that appear when you select a task tab:

Views (includes graph views)
Groups
Group annotations
Group Draft Entities
Hatches (related to the view)
Objects
Overlays
Table tab
