Deleting Ordinate Dimensions
You can delete ordinate dimensions in the following ways:
Select the baseline, right-click, and click Delete on the shortcut menu to delete ordinate dimensions and its baseline as a single task. When you delete the ordinate dimension baseline, all the dependent dimensions in the ordinate dimension chain are also deleted.
*
When you select the entire ordinate dimension chain including the baseline to delete, you are not prompted to confirm before deleting the dimension chain.
You can delete an ordinate dimension, independently of the baseline and other ordinate dimensions in the chain. You must select the dimension you want to delete, right-click, and click Delete on the shortcut menu.
You can independently delete the ordinate dimension that you first created in the ordinate dimension chain. Select the dimension that you first created, right-click, and click Delete on the shortcut menu.
*
You can delete the ordinate dimensions that were created as linear dimensions and later converted to ordinate dimensions.
You can click Edit > Undo immediately after deleting an ordinate dimension to recover the deleted ordinate dimension.
When you delete the dimension that you first created in the ordinate dimension chain, the baseline does not change to purple. The other dimensions in the ordinate dimension chain are not affected.
