Configuration Options for Associative Topology Bus (ATB)
atb_auto_check_on_activate
on, off*
Sets the state of the Auto Check Status on Activate check box. Configures the Associative Topology Bus (ATB) environment to automatically check the status of the reference file when the imported parts or assemblies that are in session are activated.
on—Automatically checks the status of the Translated Image Models (TIMs) and ATB-enabled imported features when the imported parts or assemblies are activated. The Auto Check Status on Activate check box shows default selection when you click > > .
atb_auto_check_on_retrieve
on*, off
Sets the state of the Auto Check Status on Retrieve check box. Configures the Associative Topology Bus (ATB) environment to automatically check the status of the reference file when the imported parts or assemblies are retrieved from disk.
on—Automatically checks the status of the Translated Image Models (TIMs) and ATB-enabled imported features when you retrieve the imported parts or assemblies from disk. The Auto Check Status on Retrieve check box shows default selection when you click > > .
atb_auto_check_on_update
on, off*
Sets the state of the Auto Check Status on Update check box. Configures the Associative Topology Bus (ATB) environment to automatically check the status of the reference file before you update the imported parts or assemblies.
on—Automatically checks the status of the Translated Image Models (TIMs) or the ATB-enabled features before you update them so that you can skip the check status step of the update process. You can select a TIM or an ATB-enabled feature for update regardless of its current status. The status is automatically checked when you select Update. The update of the TIM or the ATB-enabled feature depends on the status returned by this configuration option. The Auto Check Status on Update check box shows default selection when you click > > .
The Update command works only on TIMs or ATB-enabled features that are identified as out-of-date. Update ignores the TIMs or ATB-enabled features with the up-to-date or broken-link status in the selection buffer and the Auto Check Status on Update check box appears unchecked when you click > > .
atb_search_path
A single valid directory or file path
Extends the search path for the Check Status and Update commands.
For all ATB-enabled formats, except CADDS 5, you must set the value of the atb_search_path configuration option to a single valid directory or path of the reference models or assemblies.
You can set multiple instances of this configuration option. The referenced model or assembly must be located in a path defined by an instance of the atb_search_path configuration option.
The order of the setting determines the search order for the reference models or assemblies, starting from the first instance of this configuration option to the last set instance.
atb_show_log
on, off*
Sets the state of the > > > check box.
on—The Show Log check box shows default selection. Opens the Information Window showing the contents of the topo_bus.log file that is generated in the Creo Parametric Working directory.
|
The topo_bus.log file is created only for the manual Check Status operation.

extend_cvpath
path name
Extends the CVPATH search path for the data exchange of CADDS 5 files.
The CVPATH environment variable defines the default paths for CADDS 5 models. Set extend_cvpath to add paths for the CVPATH environment variable during your Creo Parametric session.
Use the CVPATH environment variable to designate the search paths for locating the following:
• The component models of an imported CADDS 5 assembly if they are not in the same directory as the assembly.
• The reference CADDS 5 part or assembly when updating a CADDS 5 Translated Image Model (TIM) in Creo Parametric.
intf_cadds_version
14*, 15
Allows you to switch between the default and the alternate pro_cadds5 converter version before or during a Creo Parametric session. Creates links automatically to the appropriate libraries and the pro_cadds5 executable.
