Using Multibody Parts In Manufacturing Process Assemblies
Multibody parts are not supported in Manufacturing Process assemblies. You cannot assemble reference models with multibody parts in Manufacturing Process assemblies. The message area shows a prompt whenever you try to assemble such a part.

Do not use the multibody parts in the Manufacturing Process assemblies. If a Manufacturing Process assembly contains a multibody part, most Manufacturing Process assembly features inconsistently fail to regenerate.
