Guidelines for MEC/T History Temperature Loads
Guidelines for defining MEC/T history temperature loads follow:
• Define at least one transient thermal analysis for a MEC/T history temperature load.
• When you define the transient thermal analysis for the MEC/T history load, you must specify user-defined output steps and no auto steps in the Transient Thermal Analysis Definition dialog box. You must also select the Temp load check boxes for at least two output steps.
• Supply a reference temperature for the MEC/T history temperature loads. The temperature change is then calculated at a given model location. It is the difference between the temperature at that location as determined in the thermal analysis and the reference temperature.
• MEC/T History load must be the only load in its load set.
