Components for Shear and Moment
When you select
Shear & Moment from the
Quantity drop-down list, the
Beam area displays the components specific to this quantity.
Creo Simulate uses these components to plot the shear and moment graph. You can select one of these components only if a beam is associated with the curve.
These are the components that appear in the Beam area:
• P—Axial force
• Vy—Shear force in the Y direction
• Vz—Shear force in the Z direction
• Mx—Torsional moment
• My—Bending moment about the Y axis
• Mz—Bending moment about the Z axis
