Style loft surfaces have been improved to avoid inflections and produce a natural result. Previously, in cases where loft surfaces had two reference chains, one with a G0-Position connection, and one constrained with a G1-Tangent, G2-Curvature, G3-Acceleration, Normal, or Draft condition at the boundary, there could be inflection at the G0-Position boundary. Loft surfaces have now been improved so the resulting surface will not have inflection.
• In Creo 11, improvements were made to prevent inflection in curves.
• In Creo 12, these improvements were also brought into surfaces, so inflections could be avoided in loft surfaces.
Benefits
• More natural loft surfaces
• No inflections when loft surfaces are connected from one side
