Improved Notification for Suspended or Expired Entitlements in Creo+
Creo+
User Interface Location: Creo+ Portal and PTC Control Center
Videos
Description
The PTC Control Center and Creo+ have been enhanced to provide improved notification to users if their assigned Creo+ licenses or extensions have expired or are suspended.
Suspended entitlements refers to the situation when an assigned license to run or extension license is no longer available. This can be due to the following reasons:
The license or extension has expired.
The quantity of an existing entitlement is reduced. If an entitlement quantity is reduced, the users who accessed Creo+ most recently will retain their assigned entitlement, while all other users will be listed as suspended.
Through the Creo+ Portal, the Administrator can view a list of users with active and suspended licenses and can reassign available entitlements. Suspended entitlements do not impact shared licenses.
Users will receive improved notification in the PTC Control Center when their license is suspended and the Creo+ button will be disabled. If only the extension has expired or is suspended, the user will still be able to launch Creo+ but will be notified within Creo+. When a suspended license is reactivated users will receive a Windows notification that states that their entitlements have changed and they can immediately start running Creo+.
