User Interface Location: In Assembly mode, click Applications > Generative Design.

You can now use the Generative Design application in Assembly mode. Previously, it was limited to only Part mode.

All capabilities for designating starting geometry, preserved geometry, and excluded geometry are supported in Assembly mode.

This enhancement is available only in master representation. Loads and constraints can be applied to different bodies in the assembly, and contacts are required for all bodies included in the Generative Design study.

This enhancement saves time by enabling generative design directly in assemblies. It captures stresses and displacements of surrounding components resulting in true system performance.
