Improved Handling of Unsupported Characters in Creo Elements/Direct Docuplane Names on Import
Creo+
User Interface Location: N/A.
Videos
Description
When you import a Creo Elements/Direct model that includes docuplanes with unsupported special characters in their names, Creo+ now automatically replaces those characters with underscores (_), enabling successful import and conversion to combined states.
To prevent duplicate names, Creo+ ensures uniqueness by keeping the first occurrence unchanged and appending incrementing numeric suffixes (for example, Name_, Name_1, Name_2) to subsequent duplicates.
Characters naming in Creo Elements/Direct:
The Structure Browser dialog box in Creo Elements/Directshowing docuplanes with characters that were previously unsupported.
Characters naming in Creo+:
The View Manager dialog box in Creo+ showing docuplanes with characters that were previously unsupported.

Improves interoperability between Creo+ and Creo Elements/Direct.
