Description
The new Acoustic module in Creo Flow Analysis enables the simulation of the generation and propagation of sound waves within the flow domain.
The following analysis types of Acoustic models are available in Creo Flow Analysis:
• Broadband Source
• Lighthill Stress
• Ffowcs Williams Hawkings Model (FW-H)
The output variables of the acoustic simulations include:
• Acoustic power level
• Lighthill stress tensor
• Sound pressure (decibel level)
Benefits
Acoustic simulation provides the following benefits:
• Enables you to perform acoustic simulations within Creo without using external solutions.
• Uses the same meshing and solving workflow as other CFA components.
• Integrates electric simulations with fluid and thermal solvers in Creo Flow Analysis.
