Both Creo Simulation Live and Creo Ansys Simulation are upgraded to use the latest 2025 R1 solver. This upgrade provides the following capabilities:
• It uses the most current Ansys Technology
• Along with faster and more accurate solutions for all physics types there are the following improvements:
◦ Improved contact handling
◦ Improved logging of warnings and errors
◦ Improved performance for thin geometry
• Probes have improved reaction result calculations.
• This upgrade also has the following security enhancements:
◦ Uses the latest .NET version
◦ Had updated libraries for compliance

• Faster meshing and solution
• Better GPU performance
• In the case of Creo Simulation Live there is improved accuracy for all structural and solid thermal models.
