Description

In Creo+, the Paste Special dialog layout has been updated, and the default behavior has also been improved. The Paste Special dialog now opens with Advanced reference configuration selected, and with no dependency.

Two configuration options allow you to set the defaults you see when the Paste Special dialog opens:

• default_copy_paste_operation—New configuration option that sets the default the default state for Advanced reference configuration and Apply move/rotate transformations to copies.

◦ reference*—Sets Advanced reference configuration to selected. This is the default option.

◦ transform—Sets Apply move/rotate transformations to copies to selected.

◦ simple—Clears both options.

• default_dep_copy_option—Sets the default state for the dependent copy in the

Paste Special and

Mirror tools.

◦ none*—Clears the Dependent copy check box. This is the new default setting.

◦ full_dep—Sets Fully dependent with options to vary to selected.

◦ dep_dim—Sets Partially dependent - Dimensions and AE Details only to selected.

Benefits

Enhances workflow efficiency by eliminating repetitive setting changes. Opens Paste Special and Mirror with your preferred defaults.
