About Spot Welds
Spot welding joins two or more overlapping pieces of metal, typically sheet metal. To create spot welds in Creo+, you use datum points as placement references. You can select existing datum points, or create datum points during weld creation.
To create multiple spot welds, there are two methods:

Multi Point—Select datum points, and features and sketches that contain datum points, as placement references, and create one spot weld feature that contains spot weld instances in multiple locations.
•
Pitch Welding—Select one datum point as the reference for the spot weld feature leader, and use pitch to automatically create a straight row of additional weld instances based on the spot weld feature leader.
