To Change the Location of the Base Point
1. On the Design tab, click the entity you want to create. The dimensions mini toolbar appears.
2. Click 
and click in the graphics window to position the base point. The distance indicators refer to the new base point.

You can place the cursor anywhere in the graphics window, where no entities exist. If references are present, the new location snaps to them. |
3. To change the dimensions scheme you are using when you are positioning the base point, select one of the following:
◦ Click 
to switch to Polar dimensions scheme. The distance indicators change to Polar values.

to switch to Cartesian dimensions scheme. The distance indicators change to Cartesian values.
