To Modify an Inserted OLE Object
1. Right-click the object you want to modify. The OLE object shortcut menu appears.
2. On the shortcut menu, click Open if you want to edit the object in its own application window, or click Edit to modify the object within the Creo+ environment. If you click Edit, the object opens within the Creo+ window, and the application toolbars open below the message area.
3. Edit the object as required.
4. If you are editing the object outside of Creo+, you must update Creo+ with the changes to the object. Within the object application window, click > <name>, where <name> is the name of the file type into which you have inserted the object.
5. To exit Edit mode and return to Creo+, do one of the following operations:
◦ If you are editing the object outside of Creo+, open the application File menu and click Exit and return to <name>.
◦ If you are editing the object from within Creo+, click anywhere outside the object window. The application toolbars close and the object displays as edited.
