About 3D PDF Export Profile Options
The following table maps the options in the 3D PDF Export Profile Settings export profile editor.
General

Template
Standard, Approval, Custom Template.
Select a template to use as a layout for your document. Standard is the default.
Company Information
Browse for a Logo image file.
Upload your company logo to be used in the PDF document.

Background Color
Select a color using the Color Editor .
Select a background color for the document.
Render mode
Solid, Solid outline, Transparent, Wireframe, Illustration, Shaded illustration.
Select a render mode for your reader. The render mode affects performance, visual fidelity, and usability. The default is Solid outline.
Lighting Mode
White, Day, Bright, Primary color, Night, Blue, Red, Cube, CAD Optimized, Headlamp.
Select an illumination mode applied to your 3D geometry by the reader. The default is Cube.
Annotations and Combined States
Checkbox.
Include annotations and combined states in the exported model. When the Annotations and Combined States checkbox is selected, you can select the following options: Add Standard Views, Show intersections, Show cutting plane, Custom PMI color.
Add Standard Views
Checkbox.
Include isometric, front, back, top, bottom, left, and right views in the exported model.
Show intersections
Checkbox.
Display visible edges at the section cut to clearly show section lines at the cut surface.
Show cutting plane
Checkbox.
Include the section plane and clipping plane in the exported models.
Custom PMI color
Checkbox.
Enable selection of custon PMI color. Use the Color Editor to select a PMI color.
Read Axis
Checkbox.
Include axes from the CAD models in your 3D PDF views. By default, the Read Axis checkbox is not selected.
Hide toolbar
Checkbox.
Hide the toolbar in the exported model. Selected by default.
Hide model tree
Checkbox.
Hide the model tree in the exported model. Selected by default.
3D view activation
Automatic, On selection, Page visible.
Select the conditions to enable the PDF when it opens after export.
Automatic—Activate 3D view when the page is opened.
On selection—Activate 3D view when clicking the model.
Page visible—Activate 3D view when the page is visible.

Description
Set a password to open the PDF
Checkbox.
Protect your document with a password. By default, the Set a password to open the PDF checkbox is not checked.
When you select the Set a password to open the PDF checkbox, set and confirm your password in the Set password and Confirm password fields.

Title
Enter a title for your document.
The title will appear in the PDF metadata.
Author
Enter the name of your document’s author.
The author’s name will appear in the PDF metadata.
Subject
Enter the subject of your document.
The subject will appear in the PDF metadata.
Allow advanced diagnostics
Checkbox.
Generate and export diagnostic log file. By default, the Allow advanced diagnostics checkbox is not checked.
