About Conformal Cooling
Conformal cooling channels provide cooling paths within the mold plates to allow a rapid cooling process. Unlike the conventional cooling channels that are straight and drilled into the mold, the conformal cooling channels closely follow the surface profile of the part that you want to mold.

Conformal cooling channels can adhere to any shape or complex geometries of the mold cavity and thus maximize the cooling surface area. This conformance to the surface area enhances heat transfer efficiency ensuring uniform and efficient cooling.

Conformal cooling channels are supported for mold components in a mold assembly.
You can also create conformal cooling channels on any part in the Part Mode or in an activated part in the mold assembly.
