To Redefine a Parting Surface
1. In the Model Tree, click the parting surface and select Redefine Parting Surface from the mini toolbar. The Parting Surface tab opens.
2. Modify the parting surface as required.

You can use surfacing as well as transforming commands to modify the volume. On the Parting Surface tab, commands in the Shape Surface Selection, Transform, and Edit Features ribbons are available only when you redefine a parting surface.
