Align a hatch pattern
Creo Elements/Direct Part Library has a specific hatch pattern for every material. It compares the assigned material of the part in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling with the hatch pattern of the corresponding drawing in Creo Elements/Direct Annotation, and aligns the hatch pattern of the drawing with the predefined hatch pattern for the assigned material.
To align a hatch pattern,
1. In Creo Elements/Direct Annotation, click Part Library and then, in the Material group, click 
Hatch. The Material->Hatch dialog box opens.
Hatch. The Material->Hatch dialog box opens.2. In the SD-MATERIALS section, click View and select the section view in the viewport. You can also select Curr sheet or Drawing under SD-MATERIALS.
3. In the criteria section, click Class to use the material class as the criteria or click Name to use the material description as the criteria.
