Change wire colors
The wires are currently black. You want to change the colors of the wires so they are easier to see.

Cables and wires come from the definitions files cable_definition.txt and wire_definition.txt. When creating a cable or wire, although you can choose the color in which to display it in the viewport, this does not change its definition.

To change the color of a wire,
1. Click
Cabling and then, in the
Modify group, click the arrow next to
Delete.
2. Click
Replace wire. The
Replace Cabling Object dialog box opens.
3. Click one of the wires. The Select_Cabling_Type dialog box opens.
4. Click Select in the Get Existing section and select the wire you originally selected.
5. Click Wire Color in the New Object section and select a different wire color.
6. Click
OK 
to complete the operation.
7. Change the colors of the other three wires.
8. Generate a 3D representation of the wires to see how they intersect (or clash) with the clamps. You will fix this problem in the next steps.
