Reposition the dimension by clicking and dragging it to the new position. Click the handle at the beginning of a dimension extension line to attach it to a different geometry element.

You can align a new dimension with an existing dimension by hovering over the existing one in the viewport. The new label is then restricted so that it remains aligned with the specified dimension.
