Bolt circle creation
Description
Creo Elements/Direct Modeling now supports the automatic creation of bolt circles on Annotation drawings for pattern features in the model. Supported pattern types include radial patterns and radial grid patterns. The pattern can be of any feature type (machining feature and face set feature)​.
The following actions trigger the automatic bolt circle creation:
Creating views
Updating views
The bolt circle is automatically updated during drawing or sheet or view updates if the referenced pattern is changed.​
The following settings are available to control the default behavior:
General control settings in the Default Settings dialog box now include bolt circles—Under Setting, expand Annotation > View > Standard > Other > Add Symmetry, Centerlines and Bolt Circle.
Settings in the Default Settings dialog box that define bolt circle creation or update—Under Setting, expand Annotation > View > Update > Create Bolt Circles.
View-specific settings in the View Properties dialog box—Click Visibility, and in the Calculate section, select Bolt Circles.
Orientation of crosses—Use the new Change Bolt Circle Cen Lines command.
Benefits
Improved productivity through automated creation and updates of bolt circles.

Limitations:
Automated dimension creation is not possible.
A minimum of three pattern member instances are required.
