The Initial System Settings dialog box opens the first time you run Creo Elements/Direct Modeling. You set the default units for Length, Angle, and Mass in the first screen. You can also click File > Settings > Initial System to open the Initial System Settings dialog box.

The second screen allows you to choose a default part resolution. You can select only from the values listed. If you need a different default resolution, complete the initial setup then click File > Settings > 3D Object. The 3D-Object Settings dialog box opens. On the Resolution pane, you can change the default part resolution.

On the third screen, select a standard 2D drawing style to use for your 2D settings.
