Update Bends in the Modify Material Command

Description
New options to update bends in the Modify Material dialog box are now available. Bends can be automatically adjusted to comply with minimum bend radius requirements. You can define the minimum bend radius.
The following options are available:
• Update Bend—Increases smaller bends to the minimum bend radius value.
• Overwrite Larger Bend Radius—Decreases larger bends to the minimum bend radius value.
• Ignore Bend tool:
◦ If selected, takes the bend tool table entries for minimum bend radii without checking for advised values (Advice=Yes).
◦ If cleared, takes the smallest bend radius, that complies with the minimum bend radius requirement and is part of the advised values, from the bend table.
Customization support options:
• (sha-set-default-change-material-valid-bend-process)—Predefine which processes are eligible for bend radius updates with the new update bend options. For example,
(sha-set-default-change-material-valid-bend-process ‘(“bend_forming” “bend_folding” “special_bend”))
• New BEND_PROCESS_RELATIONS table—Predefine a different process type correlating with material or thickness values. Used by Modify Material and Add Lip workflows (in Add lip, this table can drive a different default process value). For example,

• More straightforward bend update option for material or thickness changes. Analyze and redesign might result in a broader change (including bends, reliefs, processes, and so on) rather than just specific to thickness.
• Better integrated into the typical UI workflow for material or thickness changes.
• Many bends can be simultaneously adjusted by setting a single UI option for all.

Tips: | None. |
Limitations: | Not all bend processes can be considered for thickness changes. For processes such as air bending, bends must be reviewed and manually adjusted when required. Unsupported bends are reported in the output window. |
