Multi-level features
You can create multi-level sheet metal features such as punches, stamps, and user-defined features on the top of existing features. To create a multi-level feature, you must select the face of an existing feature, or a workplane, as the base face when you create punch or stamp features. If you use a workplane, it must be coplanar with the face of the existing feature on which you create the higher-level feature. An example of multi-level features follows.

To work with multi-level features, you must enable side-face handling.
When you unfold such multi-level features or create a flat view, the higher-level features are also included in the flat. An example of unfolding multi-level features is shown below.
