Save and load archives
As you work with Creo Elements/Direct Rendering, you will change the materials, lights, and scenes to suit your purpose. By saving all the rendering settings you have defined in an archive you can easily apply them to another model. You can also export an archive so that it can be used elsewhere, and you can load an existing archive. The file extension for archives is .lwa.
Use the default archives, User-defined Materials and User-defined World archives, or create your own. In all of them, you can create new sub-directories.
In the User-defined Materials archive, you can add only materials and decals.
In the User-defined World archive, you can add only backgrounds, foregrounds, lights, and light studios.
In your own archives, you can add any of the rendering features.
To add to an archive,
1. Right-click the archive.
2. Click New Archive in the drop-down menu.
3. Click the category from which you wish to add an element.
4. If you choose to add a decal, the New Decal menu and the File Browser will appear. Select a file in the file browser and complete the New Decal menu as described in Using decals.
5. Double-click the desired entry from the category menu that appears. The new entry appears in the archive browser.
