Place a ThingMark
You can add a ThingMark to your model to create an augmented CAD object. A ThingMark is an image, to which all the relevant information for an AR experience is attached. The ThingMark is later scanned, after which the augmented object is visible.
To add and place a ThingMark,
1. Load a part or assembly in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling.
2. Click View and then, in the Augmented Reality group, click the arrow next to Target.
3. Click ThingMark. The Position Target dialog box opens.
4. Position the ThingMark using the position options. See Position a workplane for details.
Alternatively, click the ThingMark and use the Position Wp dialog box to position, translate, or rotate the ThingMark.
5. To set the width of the ThingMark, use the handles in the Position Wp Image dialog box (Structure > Workplane > Position Image or View > Augmented Reality > Resize Target). The size of the augmented object is defined by the following:
Relative sizes of the model and the ThingMark
Size of the scanned ThingMark
6. Click OK to complete the operation. The ThingMark is added in the Structure Browser.
